Shadow of Mordor Season Pass

So, the amount of information that we got out of Monolith today was spartan at best. Basically, the season pass works like this: there's a challenge mode where you have to withstand waves of creeps, several unique story missions that will come out over time, a unique playable character, and invites to live events. The game comes out September 30 (in North America) and the season pass content is available on October 3rd.

Anthill Coming to iOS

Today in gaming: Anthill -- an award-winning simulation game with tower-defense elements -- has launched for iOS devices.

In the game, you have to direct your ants in the same way that ants communicate with each other in real life -- via trails of pheromones which you can draw and the ants will follow. You can use your soldiers to slay a monster bug and then have your worker ants carry back bits and pieces to the hill to be used as food. You must defend the hive, provide supplies, and monitor your population. Tons of fun while you're on the go.

Kickstarter - Floating Dice

I know that I normally promote video game crowd sourcing projects, however these things were too cool to pass up. This guy has a metal dice idea that is just awesome. I want a set of these die in my life and I need your help to make my dreams come true. I plan to keep them in a velvet-lined case and produce them at friends houses to inspire fear and concessions.

By the way, why are concession stands called "concession" stands? Who's conceding what? Is it just a misuse and the real word should be "consignment"? Think about it.
